Privacy
Joinery doesn't collect anything about you.
There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. I don't run one. Nothing the app does sends data anywhere, because there's nowhere for it to go.
Your photos. When you make a puzzle from your own picture, you pick it through the standard iOS photo picker, which hands the app that one image and nothing else. The app never gets access to your photo library. The picked image is copied into Joinery's own storage on your device so the puzzle survives a restart, and deleting the puzzle deletes the copy. No image ever leaves your device.
Your puzzles. Puzzles you make and your progress on them are stored on your device. If you have iCloud backup turned on, your device backups are covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one. I can't see them either way.
No analytics, no ads, no tracking. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party code in the app that phones home. Nothing tracks you across apps or websites, so there's nothing to opt out of.
What Apple sees. Joinery is distributed through the App Store and TestFlight. Apple gives me aggregate sales and usage figures, and, if you've chosen to share crash and analytics data with developers in your iOS settings, crash reports. All of it comes from Apple, is aggregated or anonymized before I see it, and doesn't identify you. You control it in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from any other domain. My hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for operations and security. I don't use them for anything else and I don't combine them with anything.
Children
Joinery collects no personal information from anyone, which includes anyone under 13.
Changes
If the app ever starts collecting something, this page gets rewritten and the date at the top changes before that version ships.
